Quaglino’s Presents The Giovanni Gin Garden

By LLM Reporters   |

Quaglino’s, one of London’s most iconic restaurants hidden in the heart of Mayfair, is set to transform the opulent dining destination into a floral spectacle with the arrival of the Giovanni Gin Garden. The blooming installation will land from July and open throughout the summer to the 31st August.

Aptly named after the Founder John ‘Giovanni’ Quaglino, the garden will bring a scented slice of summer to Mayfair for guests to reside and relax. Working with installation artists, the garden will be dressed with an iconic pergola wrapped with emerald vines, glowing lanterns and elegant fronds of pale lilac wisteria silk hanging from the arches. The indoor garden also comes complete with twisting natural branches of seasonal jasmine, honeysuckle and passionflower delicately placed amongst the main dining area, providing a truly spectacular experience in a staple London location.

And to toast to the arrival of the Giovanni Gin Garden, Quaglino’s have teamed up with Tanqueray to curate the elegant garden and craft a bespoke cocktail menu for guests to sip and savour. Shaking up the summer menu, enjoy Venetian Martinis, a Tanqueray & Tonic Mojito, and for those with a sweeter tooth a Carbonated Strawberry Aviation. The bar will also serve the entire gin portfolio including Tanqueary No. Ten, a spirit with exquisite taste.

Tanqueray No. TEN is the world’s finest gin, distilled using only the finest botanicals in the Number 10 still. Tanqueray No. TEN is distilled using whole fresh citrus fruit including grapefruit, oranges and limes and also has wonderfully delicate camomile flowers within its makeup. Tanqueray No. TEN is the only gin to have been inducted into the San Francisco Spirits Awards Hall of Fame. It is the perfect gin to enjoy in a classic Martini cocktail as well as a whole host of other delicious drinks.

Guests will also be invited to try their hand at crafting their very own cocktail. With unique master classes led by a team of expert bartenders, and Quaglino’s very own garden complete with an umbrella of ingredients, guests will be foraging for their very own ingredients to mix up the perfect tipple.

Open from July until the end of August, the Giovanni Gin Garden is the perfect place to reside on a cooler summer eve, and on Saturday 29th August the Giovanni Gin Garden will play host to a roaring ‘end of summer’ brunch party.
