Searcys St. Pancras Champagne Bar re-launches with new menus in time for Christmas festivities

The gateway to France celebrates with ‘Vive La France!’ and ‘Best of British’ Menus

Renowned London watering hole, Searcys, is celebrating the relaunch of its flagship St. Pancras Champagne Bar this winter – and is poised and ready to put the glamour back into the party season with the arrival of some brand new French and British menus – with oodles of champagne, to boot.

Heralded as one of the best champagne bars in the world, the glamorous pit-stop at St. Pancras International cut the ribbon just in time for the party season to begin, and has already welcomed a host of guests in to sample its latest delights.

Harking back to the days of old school glamour, the Champagne Bar is situated in the lofty grandeur of St Pancras International Station, below the Ron Arad installation, ‘Train of Thought’. The station has been a travelling hotspot since 1868 – only 21 years after the Searcys brand was launched. With trains that whizz directly to Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris, Searcys Champagne Bar is often the first destination for those on the move as they head off on glittering Christmas-inspired city breaks across Europe.

And this year, for the very first time, bubble connoisseurs Searcys will be showcasing a selection of fabulous British Sparkling wines as part of their re-launch. The wines now sit comfortably on the menu alongside their traditional champagne rivals – and patriotic guests can sample bubbles from the UK’s own increasingly popular vineyards, as well as sampling some top quality offerings from the Champagne region.

‘Best of British’ and ‘Vive La France!’
The all new ‘Best of British’ and ‘Vive La France!’ menus allow guests to either pick a single theme, or mix and match between the two – and by the looks of the delights on offer, it’ll be a tough choice to make. British nibbles include dressed Cornish crab, delicious lobster, artisan pork pies, and London cured salmon, while Vive La France boasts a selection of French charcuterie, Oysters, and a whole Chaource; an indulgent creamy cheese from the Champagne region, served with rustic pain de campagne.

Party Season Sharing: Size Matters
Continuing from this year’s National Champagne Week’s Spotlight on the Magnum (as the optimum pour), and perfect for yule-tide festivities, guests can enjoy the enormous ‘Searcys 1847 | Size Matters’ option to get them in the party mood. Celebrating the brand’s rich heritage, the luxurious sharing treat costs £184.70, and includes a Magnum of Searcys Champagne, British lobster, oysters, delicious French cheese and charcuterie platters – more than enough for six people to enjoy.

Championed as one of the hottest champagne destinations in the capital and beyond, Searcys St Pancras recently played host to the prestigious National Champagne Week launch party – an event that saw the region of Champagne’s top houses come together to celebrate the weeklong festival of fizz in October.

And the party hasn’t stopped! With Christmas festivities just around the corner, it’s never been a better time to raise a glass at one of London’s most iconic champagne venues. What are you waiting for?
