Mercedes-Benz Surpasses 1 Million mark

2015 is set to be a record breaker for Mercedes-Benz who have passed the 1,000,000 cars sold in the first 7 months of the year with approximately a a quarter of these being C-Class Saloons and Estates.

In Europe they have continued to set records with 457,468 vehicles handed over from Jan-July which is +11.3%, helping to defend it’s position as a market leader amongst premium manufacturers with success also seen in the NAFTA region. Over to the Asia-Pacific region and sales continue to soar with a +23.7% rate reached by July, with an increase of sales particularly in July which saw a growth at a  30.8% rate alongside a 41.5% rise compared with the same month last year in China. Mirrored by success with new record level in Japan, South Korea, and Australia last month, the Mercedes-Benz sales are going from strength to strength, potentially affected by it’s continued success in premium motor racing with Formula One of particular note?

Noted success can be seen in the 83.1% rise in sales of the C-Class Saloon and Estate last month finalising at 36,287 units sold. In the C‑Class segment, Mercedes-Benz offers its advanced hybrid technology for both the Saloon and the Estate whilst Ddmand for the C 350 e has been rising since it was launched in Spring 2015.

Increased sales can also be visibly seen with the SUV market, CLA, GLA and G-Class models whilst the GLK is high in demand at an ongoing high level even just before the market launch of its successor model. So it seems if you want your ‘2015’ car that with the badge best be Mercedes if their sales records are anything to go by.
