Rare Ferrari Enzo and 575M Superamerica on sale at H.R. Owen Ferrari

A rare and highly desirable Ferrari Enzo has gone up for sale through H.R. Owen’s flagship Ferrari dealership in South Kensington, London.

The hypercar was only produced from 2002 to 2004, with just 400 were made worldwide, and only a few of these were sold in the UK. This car was originally sold in Manchester, and is one of the later Enzos, having been first registered in 2004. It has spent the majority of its life in the UK and has been meticulously serviced and cared for by Ferrari specialists, most recently by the team at H.R. Owen Ferrari.

The Nero black exterior finish is complemented by a black Nero Alcantara interior, complete with Grigio silk stitching. It also comes with the swift-shifting F1-style gearbox, complete with paddles behind the steering wheel.

The Enzo features a 5998cc naturally aspirated V12 engine, which produced 660hp. This engine, and the F1-inspired aerodynamics, produced a top speed in excess of 217mph (350km/h) and a 0-62mph time of 3.65sec.

Although the Enzo was originally sold for $659,330 (£471,642), recent history has seen cars sell for far in excess of this. The Enzo is not the only rare Ferrari available through H.R. Owen at the moment, with a 575 M Superamerica also available through the London dealer. With just 559 Superamericas after it’s 2005 introduction, whilst the convertible limited edition proved an instant hit with the public and rapidly sold out.

This well-maintained example of the popular model started life in Germany, and has been in the UK since 2012, and has since been looked after by the expert H.R. Owen servicing team It is finished in eye catching Giallo Modena, with a Nero leather interior. The leather is finished with Grigio Scuro stitching throughout the cabin, and on the Daytona style seats. It has covered just 18,580km (11,545 miles) in its lifetime.

This car also comes with the desirable HGTC upgrade, which brings an upgraded suspension setup, carbon-ceramic brakes and a fantastic sounding sports exhaust. The other notable and desirable option on this car is the F1-style gearbox, complete with steering wheel paddles.

The 575 M Superamerica was set apart from the rest of the 575 range through its innovative rotating glass roof with electrochromic technology. This means that occupants can turn a dial in the cabin to lighten or darken the roof as appropriate in different light conditions.

It combines the appeal of a convertible with the power and performance that the 575M is famous for. The 5748cc V12 berlinetta engine produces 540hp at 7250rpm, and takes the Superamerica onto a top speed of 199mph.

H.R. Owen Ferrari’s General Manager James Champion said: “The Enzo and the 575M Superamerica are both very special examples of rare Ferraris of recent history, and it is fantastic to se them alongside each other at H.R. Owen Ferrari. They are very different”.

The Enzo and the 575M Superamerica are on display in H.R. Owen Ferrari’s Old Brompton Road showroom.
