By LLM Reporters   |

Supercars are by far some of the most impressive vehicles on the road, and for petrol heads, the opportunity to see these cars in person can mean travelling all around the world. But where are the best places to see supercars in 2020? The Classic Car Finance Team at Cambridge and Counties Bank has put together their list of hotspots for sighting a supercar around the world this year.

London

Named Supercar Capital of the World in 2018, it’s no wonder that the streets of London are teeming with these automotive expressions of wealth, but where are the best places to spot them? Whilst the super rare cars will be hidden in underground storage, you won’t be able to walk ten feet without spotting a Ferrari, Bentley or Lamborghini lining the streets near Harrods, parked outside the Dorchester Hotel or down the wealthy streets of Mayfair and Knightsbridge. Why not time your visit with luxury car shows such as the Concours of Elegance or the London Classic Car Show.

Monaco

Long associated with the wealthy, Monaco is undoubtedly a fantastic place for spotting some of the world’s finest cars. Head down to the Yacht Harbour or perhaps take a walk past some of the high-flying hotels and see the supercars parked out front. If you take a table at one of the busy bars or restaurants at the Place du Casino or Avenue des Spélugues you are also bound to see some exquisite cars.

Dubai

Luxury is definitely in abundance in Dubai, and you won’t be short of spotting a supercar or two… or more! If you walk by any of the high-end hotels and restaurants, you’re bound to see supercars lining the streets. The Dubai Mall is another brilliant place to head if you’re wanting to see these cars in plenty. With lots of spots for doing some luxury shopping here, the luxury cars follow. Afterall, even the local police drive Lamborghinis.

Milan

Italy is the birthplace of the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani, and they are less than 125 miles away from Milan. So, it’s no coincidence that their cities are filled with these beautifully crafted cars. Milan is certainly a hotspot for seeing some of the world’s finest supercars. Well known as being a fashion capital of the world, and being host to its famous fashion week, Milan attracts a great deal of wealth and the cars come with it.

Paris

A tourist destination for many, Paris is also known as home to some of the world’s finest supercars. Travelling down the Champs-Élysées or keeping an eye out around the L’Arc de Triomphe can be perfect places to spot these vehicles. With Lamborghinis and Aston Martins a plenty, an avid car spotter would not feel short changed.

Los Angeles

Whether you’re out to do a spot of shopping, or pick up the latest superfood smoothie, you’re bound to see a supercar glistening in the LA sunshine. Beverly Hills is a great location for spotting a supercar, and you may also get a glimpse of some fantastic classic cars whilst you’re there. Other supercar hotspots include Santa Monica, Rodeo Drive, and Sunset Boulevard; it’s almost a certainty you’ll see an impressive piece of car engineering there. Alternatively, a short drive away is the smart locale of Malibu, where many Hollywood stars and their beautiful cars reside.

New York

Unlike London, the supercars of New York are spread far and wide. You may see one as you pop your head up from the subway in Queens, or perhaps whilst hailing a cab downtown. Not short on the exotic cars though, this is definitely a city to visit to see some seriously flashy vehicles.

So, there you have it. We’ve identified some of the best places around the world to spot supercars in 2020. If you’re an avid car spotter, then these could be the holiday destinations for you.
