For the festive season it is always a good idea to broaden your horizons and seek out new and exciting recipes. Though you may just be hosting parties for two this December there’s no reason not to mix it up with your tipples, and this cocktail by Maldon Salt Company might just be the most fruity and festive we have tasted. Give this simple cocktail a go and don’t let Covid restrictions dampen your party spirit.
Ingredients
1 or 2 lime wedges
Maldon Salt
3 parts of grapefruit juice
3 parts of blood orange juice
1 part of vodka
Frozen red currants, sprigs of rosemary for garnish
Method
1. Run the lime wedge/s around your cocktail glasses and dip the glasses into the Maldon Salt.
2. Combine grapefruit juice, blood orange juice and vodka in a cocktail shaker with ice.
3. Shake well and strain into your prepared glasses.
4. Garnish with the frozen berries and a sprig of rosemary.
