The intimate, 28-cover fine dining restaurant Prithvi in the Cotswolds is launching a brand new menu introducing seasonal dishes to the restaurant’s signature modern Indian menu.

Dishes include Brown shrimps, radish, Evesham asparagus, Quail egg; Cotswold Chicken, red chilli & Star Anise, wild garlic; Halibut, sea purslane, mustard jus, sprouting broccoli; and Duck, jersey royals, carrot julienne, lime & coconut all of which can be individually matched to a glass from the restaurant’s extensive list of wines or enjoyed as part of the well-loved Tour Of Prithvi tasting menu, a 5-course menu, sampling the delectable range of new dishes from suppliers such as New Wave Seafood and Aubrey Allen.

A mouth-watering selection of seasonal desserts includes Croustillant, pecan & hazelnut, white coffee mousse, salted caramel and Pistachio & apple cake, raspberry jelly, ginger snap.

The new dishes join old favorites like Pan- fried scallops, prawns, mango coulis, coconut jus. The new menu also sees the return of one of Prithvi’s most popular dishes: Slow cooked lamb, fine beans, pickling sauce.

Set up by cousins and restaurateurs Jay Rahman and Taj Uddin, Prithvi (‘Mother Earth’ in Sanskrit) opened in 2012 before quickly seducing fine dining fans with its reinvented Indian dishes.

Prithvi can be found at 37 Bath Road, Cheltenham.
