A new partnership launched in October 2018, ‘The Sin Bin’ combines an alpine chalet with an urban bar setting, just steps from the ice. Teams who visit the Queens Skate and Bowl are invited to try out London’s first on ice curling experience alongside other activities from ice karting to ice skating.

Iconic favourites that teams can indulge in and warm up with, following a game of curling on the ice, include MEATliquor’s ‘Hot Mess’ – a combination of hash browns with blue cheese sauce, jalapeños, house-made buffalo sauce and pickles as well as the deep-fried mac ‘n’ cheese served with marinara sauce and sticky chicken wings with a honey and mustard kick. Also to choose from are the infamous burgers, including the ‘Dead Hippie’: two mustard-fried beef patties with ‘Dead Hippie sauce’, lettuce, cheese, pickles and white onions.

Dubbed as ‘deadly cocktails and delicious food’ – this unique but recommenced new experience offers West London a fun fuelled bar and diner with striking neon lights with the added element of the on-ice activities. And it doesn’t stop there, next on the agenda at Queens Skate and Bowl is the imminent arrival of five private bowling lanes, to be named ‘The Liquor Lanes’, inspired by the classic film The Big Lebowski.

Originally opening back in 1930 as London’s premier indoor ice rink just steps from Queensway tube station, the rink was transformed back in 1994 into an eclectic leisure venue with the introduction of 12 bowling lanes and an arcade games area. Many years later the venue has been reimagined and once again offers a unique experience, combining bowling, skating, arcades & MEATliquor all under one roof.
