Add a Feature wall

One of the best ways to bring in a splash of color into the bedroom without it being overwhelming is by using a clever two tone colour palette. So your favorite colour is a bright fuchsia pink, but you don’t want to make the room too dark? Simple! Why not use a lovely neutral tone on 3 of the walls and then paint the feature wall in the darker colour, this way you can have a bit of colour but still allow the room to let in plenty of light by having it bounce off the lighter walls.

Canvas Art

Love wall art? Then use this to your advantage and brighten up your room by adding a little canvas art. With so many different designs, sizes and colors available on the market to suit your taste, you will be spolit for choice on which theme to go for. Perhaps opt for a larger canvas design hung above the bed, or choose a few smaller ones and hang them together to give the room a contemporary feel.

Vibrant Bedding

So easy yet so effective. Why not opt for some colorful bedding to add a bit of colour to a plain room, you could try a wild pattern or perhaps a silk set in a deep red, this will instantly add some character to the room. If you don’t fancy going all out with the bedding, you could always add to your current bedding with a fabulous fur throw to create a chic look.
