New luxury bedding brand launched
Trendsetter Home Furnishings Ltd, the UK’s largest international supplier of duvets, pillows and mattress toppers, has launched a luxury brand of natural bedding.
The new Nimbus Emporium collection aims to “set new standards in all-natural quality bedding”, according to the manufacturer.
“It features the finest materials, meticulously sourced and carefully crafted using traditional techniques to create a supreme finish unlike anything else on the market. Nimbus Emporium is also ahead of the market with a 10-year quality guarantee on duvets, and responsible sourcing,” Trendsetter Home Furnishings Ltd said in a statement.
This new range features a Gold, Silver and Bronze collection.
The Gold collection is described by the company as “peerless in quality”. It uses 100% A1 certified Hungarian Goose Down – which we’re told is the highest grade available on the market today and universally acknowledged as one of the best fillings in the world. This top of the range collection is encased in a “luxurious” 420 thread count pure cotton cover with hand-finished champagne piping. Hungarian down is renowned for its large, soft clusters that offer warmth without weight, which means the Gold collection is being marketed as “one of the lightest natural duvets available in the world”.
The Silver collection, meanwhile, is described as “soft and luxurious” and contains a 90% Hungarian goose down filling. “A 300 count cotton thread cover completes the sumptuous experience, with beautiful hand-finished silver piped edges,” said Trendsetter Home Furnishings Ltd.
The Bronze collection has a 90% premium Goose down filling encased in an “exquisite” 280 thread count cotton cambric, hand finished with piping.
Sara Wadsworth, Nimbus brand manager, told us: “Nimbus stands for natural quality, plain and simple. Natural filled products represent more than 30% of overall bedding sales in the UK, seen by many consumers as the ultimate in luxury. Our new brand and stand-out packaging reinforces the luxury credentials of this product and offers retailers a top end range to complement their existing offer.
“Natural filled products have the benefit that they generally maintain their insulating properties for longer than synthetics and are able to drape around the body, comfortingly hugging and insulating. The result is not only a product of exceptional quality but one that has the benefit of longevity too.
“Choosing quality bedding is a sound investment as with the proper care a duvet can last years and pillows can have an unparalleled ability to spring back into shape.”
The RRP for Nimbus starts at £60 for a pillow in the Bronze range, going up to £160 for a Silver pillow and £200 for Gold.
The RRP for duvets is £165 for a 9 tog duvet in the Bronze collection, £275 for Silver and from £350 for Gold. There are a number of seasonal tog variations within each range. There are also toppers available starting from £200.
