Liz Earle Limited Edition Rose & Cedrat Cleanse & Polish

By Melanie Kruger   |

As a big fan of Liz Earle‘s original Cleanse & Polish cream cleanser, I’m always intrigued when the latest special edition hits beauty counters around the country, and the latest offering – romantic Rose & Cedrat – was another tempting fragrance I just could wait to try.

The original Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is held in very high regard in beauty circles, with over 100 beauty awards to its name since its initial launch. Designed to gently and effectively cleanse the skin, it’s a dab-hand at removing even the heaviest of makeup applications, and thanks to the accompanying muslin cloth which is used to remove the product after massaging into the skin for a minute or so, it’s pretty darn good at exfoliating, too. Its creamy formula makes for a hydrating cleanse that leaves skin feeling soft, supple and clean – and it smells utterly irresistible, to boot.

With the addition of Beeswax to protect, soothe and soften the complexion and Eucalyptus essential oil to decongest, Cleanse & Polish also counts Glycerine among its nourishing list of ingredients, for additional hydration. Add to that astringent Hops Extract, which helps to tone the skin, Cocoa Butter to soften and Rosemary Oil for it’s beneficial antioxidant properties, and you’ve got a pretty well-rounded product that absolutely lives up to its reputation.

The new Rose & Cedrat offering makes for a truly blissful cleansing experience, and I haven’t been able to help massaging mine in for that little bit longer so that I can breathe in the beautifully relaxing scent before climbing into bed. The offering is a fragrant floral twist on the classic beauty hero, blending the timeless romance of Damask rose with the modern freshness of citrusy cedrat.

This one is limited edition, so go and pick yours up while you still can.
