The Luxury Lifestyle List: Paul Fox, CEO of international gaming company LeTou

By LLM Reporters  |  January 27, 2020

We caught up with Paul Fox, CEO of international gaming company LeTou.

My car of choice

I’m currently based in Manila, Philippines, which has some of the worst traffic and roads in the world, as well as the highest import tax on luxury cars (over 112%). For that reason, I don’t drive in Manila, and instead have a full-time driver and travel in the 2019 long-wheelbase BMW 7 Series. When I travel abroad, I like to drive a range of different cars, including Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, and Lamborghini.

My favourite holiday destination

My favourite beach destination is the Maldives and I celebrated the New Year there recently at the Four Seasons Hotel. My favourite city to visit is Tokyo. It’s one of the few major cities in the world which has been able to preserve its culture and offer a unique experience for visitors.

My gadget I can’t live without

My iPhone 11 Max Pro. I’m an Apple junkie so whenever the newest phone comes out, I’ll always be one of the first to buy it and upgrade.

My go to fashion brand

There are a lot. I’d probably have to say Dior. I’m a huge fan of Kim Jones and I think he’s doing an amazing job there. I’m also a big admirer of Yves Saint Laurent, I love what Celine are doing for men now and also Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton.

My airline of choice

I always try to fly with Emirates Airlines. Wherever I’m flying in the world from Manila, I can usually get there with one connection in Dubai. The facilities are great including the first-class cabins, their loyalty system and the range of destinations they fly to sets it apart from other airlines for me.

My favourite watch brand

Historically, Rolex has been my watch brand of choice, although the Sky-Dweller that I own was recently stolen. My next purchase is likely to be a Richard Mille because I’m a big fan of hip-hop fashion and culture, and that’s the watch of choice in hip-hop right now.

My favourite restaurant

Nobu is a personal favourite of mine and Chef Nobu came to Manila recently and cooked dinner for me at his restaurant. I’m also a big fan of L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, the Italian restaurant where Julia Roberts ate in the film Eat, Pray, Love. And you can’t beat a Nando’s.

My guilty pleasure

I’ve got a very sweet tooth and love to eat chocolate and sweets wherever I go.

My favourite way to give back

I prefer to give back to people directly instead of donating to a charity where you don’t really know where the money is going. I’ve helped put children through school and college and I’ve also paid for and helped build a new house for a family after their existing home was decimated by Typhoon Haiyan.
