We caught up with Tess Annique, a leading American model and fashionista. As a full-time model, fitness junkie, and wellness savant, Tess has just launched her own website called ‘Wellness with Tess’ where she outlines exactly how she prioritises her mind, body, and health above all else, as well as how she looks so fabulous while doing it.
My car of choice
I personally love big SUVs. My fiancé has great taste in cars, so all our vehicles are matte black with glossy black wheels. My favourite car in our garage is an old 70s bronco with the top off. It’s fun to cruise around. (Annique currently drives a Mercedes G63 as seen on her Instagram).
My favourite holiday destination
I love Spain and Greece. I miss Formentera and being able to travel abroad. The Caribbean also has beautiful waters. Hoping to be able to travel somewhere new soon!
My gadget I can’t live without
My iPhone. Sometimes I try to detach and not be on it, but I love being able to have a camera handy and take photos and capture special moments. I’m trying to get into photography and would love to learn how to shoot film.
My go to fashion brand
I like to mix high and low pieces, masculine and feminine. My favourite brand right now is Bottega or Jacquemus. I like simple things with interesting details, like cut outs or textures, phenomenal quality, and mixing it with something that makes you look twice, like a pair of low Jordans and a lady Dior bag.
My airline of choice
Haven’t been on a plane in the past year and a half. It’s been fun driving everywhere and taking road trips. I definitely won’t be taking air travel for granted ever again.
My favourite watch brand
I typically wear yellow gold, but my engagement ring is rose gold and I love it. I just saw a women’s rose gold AP that caught my eye.
My favourite restaurant
I love going out for sushi or Italian. Nobu Malibu may be one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world. Estiatorio Milos is fresh and divine. Craigs in Los Angeles is such a good vibe.
My guilty pleasure
Chocolate. I could eat it all day, every day. I have the biggest sweet tooth and it only gets worse in Europe. I’m German, so Kinder Schokolade (Kinder Chocolate) is what I grew up on.
My favourite way to give back
Sharing my journey, tips, and experience in the health and wellness space with other young women, so they can become the greatest version of themselves.
