Have a blissful stay in Belgravia at Cheval Phoenix House

By Kate Morfoot   |

If you’re thinking about a one night stay or longer in London, why not book a serviced apartment which has all the luxury of a five-star hotel at cheaper rates? Kate Morfoot, from LoveToEatToTravel, checks-in to her Cheval Phoenix House apartment.

Cheval Phoenix House is part of the Cheval Residences which is a collection of five star serviced apartments.

Located at 1 Wilbraham Place you can expect decadence from this spacious and immaculate apartment, (which makes a difference from an overpriced small hotel room in central London). I found out that Cheval Phoenix House provides a cost-effective alternative to a five- star hotel, with the same level of exclusive service.

It’s impossible not to be seduced by the charm of Cheval Phoenix House.

The one bedroom apartment is luxurious, refined and well appointed. It’s kitted out for guests to experience ‘home from home’ comfort, whether it’s a short one night stay or a longer rental period for weeks or months at a time.

On my arrival I found a lovely welcome basket filled with organic cereals, biscuits and popcorn and milk and orange juice was in the fridge.

Everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible is provided and with a 24 hour concierge team on standby, arrangements and bookings to the fashionable cafes, restaurants and theatres can be easily made.

There’s a fully-equipped kitchen where you can prepare a dinner party for four in the dining or lounge area if you so wish. Furthermore there’s even a dishwasher!

So often in London hotels baths are small and narrow. Here you will have a long and relaxing bath fully outstretched without having to breathe in. There’s a power shower within the confines of the granite bath tub accompanied by the Feel Good Formula range of shampoo and conditioning products and large fluffy towels.

The super king-sized bed had street views overlooking trendy shops, however, it’s in a quiet area with no traffic noise aiding to a peaceful night’s sleep. There’s a large built in wardrobe with plenty of hangers. And of course, like any five star hotel there’s a pillow menu. If you need to work, there’s plenty of space with lots of sockets and it has all the modern conveniences including two Televisions and Robertson music stations in the lounge and bedroom. They don’t skimp on anything here.

It’s located just a stone’s throw from the salubrious Sloane Street, where you can find every designer boutique to dazzle you. Cheval Phoenix House is a perfectly located apartment for shopping with fine restaurants on your doorstep. It offers access to an in-house or local gym as well as in-room dining, delivering food and beverages direct to the apartment.

Cheval Residences aim to make everything blissfully easy, with the benefit of London city life right on the doorstep. Don’t miss Canvas Restaurant next door! It’s a hidden gem serving modern European food.
