Hotel of the week: Residenza Napoleone III, Rome in Italy
The most charming and elegant place you will ever stay, Residenza Napoleone III’s divine atmosphere will have you hooked from the beginning.
This opulent boutique, set in the heart of fashionable Rome (opposite Fendi no less) has been open to the public since 2002. It is located within the XVI century Palazzo Ruspoli on Rome’s legendary Via Condotti.
Within the boutique hotel lies the Napoleone Suite, which is named after Emperor Napoleon III, who lived here in 1830. It is a stupendously grand apartment that is comprised of two fine reception rooms and a master bedroom, of course, complete with a silk-draped canopy bed.
Calling all culture lovers, the rooms are filled with the finest artwork from oil paintings to sculptures. In the famous Napoleone Suite there are six huge oil paintings in this signature apartment at Residenza Napoleone III, one is the bedhead and another is the entrance to the exquisite marble bathroom.

The opulent and luxurious Napoleone Suite is the apartment to book for the proper palace experience. It is possible to book this room as part of this the interconnecting Blue Bedroom which is charming and cosy – named after the Chinese vases that is showcased.
The Roof Garden Terrace Suite is much humbler, but it has a multi-level decked terrace of some 600 square feet, with fabulous views across the city.
No restaurant, but the apartment has a kitchenette and minibar and staff are happy to make bookings at the est local restaurants.
Room service is not available, however, breakfast is brought in to your room an beautifully laid out. Arrangements can be made for dinner if required.
