The bright lights of Vegas have long attracted a thrill-seeking crowd of whales and amateur gamblers alike, all of whom visit the city in search of extravagance and excess. Sin City’s famous strip is lined with opulent luxury resorts and high-end casinos, where the rich and famous come to play blackjack, roulette and other favourite games and place some eye-watering wagers. While winning is the ultimate goal, for the world’s biggest spenders, playing alone is what makes the experience fun, and when you have plenty of money to burn, it’s easy to walk away unscathed, whatever the outcome.

Over the past two years, digital casinos like New Casino Online (https://www.new-casino-online.com) have been picking up the slack for Vegas’ most popular land-based establishments, with a dramatic spike in the number of new sign-ups reported between over 2020 and 2021. With gaming enthusiasts forced to seek their thrills remotely, there’s no doubt that these enticing online platforms filled a void for many during a period of lockdowns and restrictions – but with Vegas’ most famous casino resorts having finally thrown open their doors once more, the allure of the city is one that many simply can’t resist.

This is particularly true of Vegas’ most opulent casino resorts, and the iconic Palazzo at The Venetian is up there with the best of them. In fact, many high-rollers and fun-seeking novice players alike would be bold enough to declare it the most luxurious of all the high-end casino resorts in the city – and here at LLM, we can’t help but agree.

An opulent affair

A tribute to the Italian elegance and excellent taste, The Venetian is one of the most iconic establishments on the strip, and is inspired by the winding canals and quaint architecture of Venice. In fact, you’ll even find a replica canal network within the grounds of the resort, where you can relax as you take a meandering gondola ride that isn’t dissimilar to the real life experience you could expect in Venice itself.

The Palazzo is one of two towers that make up the resort’s accommodation offerings, and transports you right into the centre of a modern renaissance, with every experience here designed to open your mind up to all elements of luxury.

Home to a selection of lavish rooms and suites, the King Suite is the building’s piece-de-resistance, and offers elegant digs comprising a sprawling living room and a plush king-size bed. At 720 square feet, it’s almost double the size of your average Las Vegas hotel room, and the largest standard suite on the strip. But that’s just for starters – because The Palazzo boasts some even more impressive suites, ranging all the way up to the 3,667 square foot Chairman Suite, which boasts its own private terrace overlooking the Vegas Strip, as well as its very own private pool and spa, workout room and even a massage parlour.

If you’re looking to really spoil yourself, then this is the place to do it, because every last detail has been carefully considered to ensure a memorable experience.

Promising the utmost in relaxation for guests, touches like the sophisticated marble bathroom and plush bedding are all designed to up-level the experience to the loftiest possible heights. And of course, you can expect high-level, impeccable service for the duration of your stay, with the resort’s highly-trained and experienced team always available to bring your dreams to life and ensure you’re left wanting for nothing.

When you can bear to tear yourself away from your breath-taking suite, the resort offers plenty of five-star facilities and amenities to enjoy. There are more than 40 restaurants and bars on site, including the Delmonico Steakhouse, headed up by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse, and South American-inspired eatery Chica, which boasts Venezuelan talent Lorena Garcia at its helm. These are, of course, just a taster of what’s available here – any type of cuisine you can dream up, you’ll likely find it at the Venetian, and of course, there are Italian dining spots like the Brera Osteria and Matteo’s Ristorante for those looking to continue their immersion into this captivating culture.

The resort is home to a giant indoor shopping mall, known as the Grand Canal Shoppes, where you can indulge in a shopping spree at one of its many designer boutiques. Art buffs, meanwhile, will never have to leave the site if they’re looking for a little bit of culture, as there is even a gallery -The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum – located right inside the resort.

Add to that not one, but four theatres – the Opaline Theatre, the Palazzo Theatre, the Sands Showroom and the Venetian Theatre – and you’ll never find yourself short on entertainment come the evenings. But the main event is, of course, the resort’s sprawling casino, which boasts an impressive number of table games and slots, as well as private poker rooms reserved for high-stakes gamblers only, and an attractive sportsbook.

Few resorts in Las Vegas – or the rest of the world – can match up to this awe-inspiring offering, not least its huge range of facilities and entertainment options. So, is The Venetian the most luxurious resort in the world, and The Palazzo the most opulent accommodation choice? We certainly think so – and regular guests are almost certain to agree.
