Capture the timeless beauty of Buckinghamshire, as The Luxury Collection announces its brand new luxury hotel, The Langley.

Known for its opulence, the brand is part of Marriott International Inc., and is comprised of world-renowned hotels and resorts, all of which offer unique and authentic experiences, creating unforgettable memories for clients.

The Langley, the latest addition to the collection, is a restored former hunting lodge of the third Duke of Marlborough. Recently opening its doors at the beginning of June the hotel is now inviting guests to visit and witness the historic grandeur and luxury that presides at this sublime location.

After an extensive multi-million pound renovation that lasted six years, the luxury hotel sits perfectly on the outskirts of London, in Buckinghamshire’s Langley Park, and offers guests 41 lavish bedrooms across two buildings – the hunting lodge and an adjacent Grade II-listed 18th century Brew House.

The King Main House Deluxe Suite

Jenni Benzaquen, the Vice President of Luxury Brands in Europe for Marriott International, has explained that the unveiled hotel “seamlessly blends historic country manor grandeur with modern convenience”.

Joining three other Luxury Collection hotels in England, all situated in London, The Langley will offer guests “the opportunity to explore the best of both the city and the countryside”, as Benzaquen continues to explain.

Built between 1756 and 1760, the principal Langley Park House is an impressive Palladian mansion, which is beautifully surrounded by iconic Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown-designed gardens and gives the area a feeling of magic and elegance.

In a bid to protect the historic features of the original building, the refurbishment has allowed these exquisite sections to remain untouched in order to highlight the sublime natural setting of Langley Park, whilst showcasing the grandeur and splendour of its distinctive British heritage.

Those desiring an extravagant stay at The Langley can find its most luxurious rooms in the mansion house, including the exclusive Duke of Marlborough Suite. With three bedrooms, the suite is designed within an octagonal central room and features exceptional views of the park and its lake.

The Langley Spa

The second level of the main house offers its guests a variety of eccentric and homely rooms in order for visitors to have a comfortable and unique experience; you will also witness impressive views of the area as you gaze through the historic round windows featured in each of the rooms.

In the Brew House, which has previously acted as a stable, clock tower and a brewery, guests will find beautifully comfortable residential rooms and suites that reflect the buildings unique history; whilst you’re there, why not visit the historic spaces where previous owners prepared their local beers?

Added to the main house in 1894, the Winter House has been meticulously restored to create a beautifully unique space for weddings and other special events and features a private terrace that showcases breathtaking views of the estate and nearby lake.

As if this were not enough, the hotel also features six extra venues, which creates a total of 3,336 square feet to be used as a space for events and meetings; the perfect place to fit a maximum of 120 people.

According to Khalid Affara, developer of the hotel, “the restoration of The Langley has been an incredible process involving large teams of experts painstakingly regenerating this magnificent historic building to its former glory.

The Churchill Bar

“The whole estate is steeped in such rich history and heritage, so we are thrilled to finally open the doors to a truly unique property that successfully celebrates The Langley’s past”, says Affara and continues to explain how they are “offering contemporary luxury and design alongside outstanding dining and cutting-edge spa and gym facilities”.

Surrounded by countryside, The Langley Spa is a 1,600 square metre subterranean wellness hub that is partnered with Sisley, pioneers of phyto-cosmetology and experts in skincare, to provide guests with advanced treatments and an exquisite relaxation for the mind, body and soul.

The Langley Spa offers sublime design elements with world-class facilities and features a private VIP suite, hammams, vitality pools, juniper-wood sauna with pink Himalayan salt walls, amethyst steam room and an impressive 16-metre marble-lined indoor swimming pool.

Offering a variety of relaxation spaces for you to indulge in, including one specifically designed for women, as well as manicure and pedicure studio, a hair salon and a spa lounge where you can find cold-pressed juices and nourishing dishes to enhance your pampering.
