1 – Time Bomb Flashback Night Cream – 45ml (£37)

Time Bomb Flashback Night Cream gives skin a subtle glow

Aside from the smart and stylish packaging, the contents of Time Bomb proved to be as pleasing. On first appearance, I wondered if the cream would be heavy and oily as it looked like it might be dense in the pot. I was however pleasantly surprised. From the first use, the cream melted into my skin without much encouragement, and left my face feeling moisturised and oil free.

I was delighted with the subtle glow I was getting after repeated use, and it soon became a fixture in my nighttime skin routine. It also helps that it smells like a luxurious spa treatment! In terms of results, I would say that come morning time, my skin looks healthy and radiant, and more voluminous. I would be keen to try other products from this brand.

2 – Collagen Ultra (from £19.95 for 60 tablets)

Combining three types of collagen and 10 additional active ingredients, Collagen Ultra is a popular choice

Combining three types of collagen and 10 additional active ingredients, Collagen Ultra is a popular choice. Collagen makes up approximately 75% of the dermis, the layer beneath the skin’s surface, and it gives your skin strength and the smooth, plump appearance we associate with young, healthy skin. But with three types of collagen packed into these little tablets, they don’t just work on your skin but your joints too.

Collagen Ultra boasts type one, two and three. Each of which give you a different benefit. Types One and Three are in all major tissue, including our skin – and is essential for any healing process with the body. Type Two is the key ingredient of the cartilage helping with joint mobility.

Boasting all of these wonderful benefits, I was really keen to try these as they sounded like a mirror image of what my body needed. After a month, I started to noticeably see the lines around my mouth fade slightly and my joints felt so much less stressed and strained. Not only that, they gave me a lot more energy on a daily basis. For me, they tick all the boxes and are ideal for any mum who just needs that little bit of help! (so, all mums then).

3 – Goldfaden MD Needle-less (£100)

Goldfaden MD Needle-less leaves skin smooth and protected

I like this product and the simplicity of the packaging and with it stating it was an alternative to needles with 100% pure hyaluronic acid advanced anti-ageing Hexapeptides work to plump, tighten and smooth away the appearance of fine lines and nutrient-rich Seaweed Extract promotes a long-term, youthful glow. I had a lot riding on this to reduce all signs of ageing!

I love the pump dispenser which allows for the perfectly desired amount with just one or two pumps to cover the entire face. A little product does go a long way, but I feel as though the gel takes quite some time to absorb, after use my skin felt a little sticky to touch meaning I tended to use this most at the weekend when my husband was at home leaving me ‘plenty’ of time to get ready and apply my make-up. However, my skin did feel calm after use, as well as smooth and protected!

4 – Dr Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Anti-Aging Moisturiser (£61)

Dr Dennis Gross Ferulic + retinol anti-aging moisturiser absorbs in moments

I have been using this product for the past few months twice a day, and within a week I could already notice the difference to my skin. The lines are slowing disappearing and my skin looks and feels plump. I love that even though moisturiser is rich, it absorbs into my skin in a matter of moments, leaving it feeling fresh and silky.

I have quite sensitive skin so thick moisturiser usually terrifies me at risk of leaving me with break outs! This product is a game changer. I just love it. A little bit goes a long way… in turn making this product great value for money.

5 – Proto-col Collagen Shots (£34.95)

Proto-col collagen shots are gluten, dairy and lactose free

I have been desperate to try collagen shots for some time now, and these tasted utterly divine. The berry flavoured juice was the perfect little treat to have any time of day with the added bonus of the ingredients which include verisol collagen, biotin, zinc, copper and vitamins B6, C & E working it’s magic on my skin.

From the age of 25, the skin gradually decreases its production of collagen. It reduces at a rate of 1.5% per year so now aged 32, I have seven years of catching up to do and have already lost over 10%.

I tended to have my shot just before bed when my skin was completely make-up free, this is also when our skin rejuvenates giving it the best chance possible. I loved taking the shot for 10 days and swear I could notice a difference in my nasal folds. Now I just need to take them forever in the hope to look 21 again!!

6 – Proto-col Collagen Facial Serum (£34.95)

Proto-col Collagen Facial Serum promises to “plump fine lines and wrinkles and create smooth hydrated skin”

I love this serum, it absorbs in an instant meaning my daily ritual is sped up thanks to the serum quickly sinking into my skin, I used this with the collagen shots for ten days and loved the calming effect they had on my skin. The pump comes out white but as soon as it goes into your skin it becomes translucent.

I really noticed the glow it left on my skin, and if I wasn’t such a make-up addict then I’d leave the house with just this on. Bursting with essential oils, vitamins and anti-oxidants, this facial serum nourishes, protects and hydrates the skin on a cellular level. I just love it!

7 – MZ SKIN by Dr. Maryam Zamani Hydrate and Nourish Age Defence Retinol Day Moisturizer (£95)

MZ SKIN is an opulent range that maintains a key focus on anti-ageing and skin health

This award-winning skincare line is performance driven and backed by science. MZ SKIN is an opulent range that really works and maintains a key focus on anti-ageing and skin health. The packaging of the moisturizer is gorgeous and looks totally chic on my nightstand. Now that I’m 32 I have just started to introduce retinol to my skincare regime.

And with the day moisturiser including both retinol and spf 30 I was so pleased that this magic little pot would not only hydrate my skin but also protect it as well. Boasting Vitamin A, C and E to protect against free radicals, boost cell renewal, correct imperfections and brighten skin tone, I can safely say that I’ve really noticed the difference it’s had on my skin.

My problem area is usually my chin but even my cheeks where I rarely get a spot have become clearer since using this little pot of magic! My only quirk is that it does take a little while to absorb but considering it’s essentially three creams in one, it saves me time as I’m rushing round my house getting ready in the morning, with my little shadow – my toddler!

8 – Nourella Active Skin Support Supplement

Nourella Active Skin Support Supplement
This two-step system of a moisturizer and supplements works on skin from the inside as well as the outside

Nourella cream costs £39.95 for 1 month’s supply (50ml)
Nourella tablets cost £39.95 for 1 month’s supply (60 tablets -2 a day)

This two-step system of a moisturizer and supplements works on skin from the inside as well as the outside. The two-daily dose of the pills which makes it easy to remember, one when you moisturise in the morning, the other before bed.

The pills are based around an ingredient called Vercilex which provides the building blocks for the skin to produce more of its own collagen, and the key ingredient to the cream is RetileX-A, which is derived from vitamin A and said to be stronger than retinol. This surprised me when doing my research as the cream feels very soft on the skin, compared to other brands I’ve used where the key ingredients is retionol.

The moisuriser is totally addictive and easy to store in your cupboard. It sinks into the skin quickly and easily making my daily routine nice and speedy. Although, I’ve still had break-outs since I’ve used this, I’ve noticed that my cheeks and forehead have become clearer – so much in fact I’ve swapped my thick coverage foundation for a thin more water based serum option, I haven’t felt this comfortable with my skin since I was a teenager, so it must be working!

9 – LQ Liquid Health Skin, Hair & Nails (£29.99)

LQ Liquid Health boosts skin, hair and nails

One thing I love about LQ Liquid Health is that this one little shot is packed with key ingredients for both the skin, hair and nails. Meaning that I can drink this shot on the go, safe in the knowledge that it’s working its way on boosting these areas of my body.

Formulated with 7000mg of Marine collagen, a natural protein to build healthy skin I had lots of hope riding on these little magic pots. I have to admit I didn’t love the taste of these, but after trialling the shots for over a few weeks I did begin to notice the difference to my skin, so that alone kept me going.

I am now a month into these, and think the most noticeable change has to be my nails. Since having my daughter my nails have become weak and brittle but thanks to LQ Liquid Health they are now strong and I haven’t had one broken or split nail in the past two weeks – finally!!

10 – Hi-Mirror £239

The HiMirror boasts five different lighting settings

I think most women would love to look into the mirror and know how to or when to actively start looking after potential problem areas, and thanks to the HiMirror Mini you can now do just that.

This nifty little device that looks just like an ordinary make-up mirror, boasting five different lighting settings to ensure you apply your make-up to perfection no matter that time of day is just one of many useful tools that HiMirror offers.

This piece of tech analyses your skin to identify wrinkles, fine lines, complexion, dark circles, red spots, pores – the list goes on! Once you’ve find out any problem areas that may arise (hello dark circles) the HiMirror then personalises skincare recommendations for you, whose efficacy can be monitored over time, accessed only by face and voice authentication.

Trialling this was really good fun, and even though I am fully aware my dark circles are horrendous, I was pleasantly surprised to know that my wrinkles weren’t too bad for my age! I have all the products above to thank for that.
