The 72km fuel economy makes this vehicle one of the most efficient yet, as well as one of the speediest, with the PHEV being able to accelerate to 60mp in just 6.4 seconds. With smart technology features such as cabin preconditioning from your mobile, to intelligent routing, this is an iconic, sustainable design for those who want to do their bit for the environment. This model is priced from £89,300.

Lexus LC500H (pictured at the very top of the article)

As one of the most rare and exclusive sports cars, the Lexus LC500h is a one of a kind luxury hybrid. The 2-door couple will not only give you gorgeous aesthetics, but it provides a 5.0-liter V8 engine and a 354-hp gas-electric drivetrain. As well as this, the Lexus LC500h accelerates on command and can hit 60mph in as little as 4.4 seconds, with a top speed of a staggering 168mph. Priced from £75,000 upwards, sustainability has never been so stylish.

Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid

The 2020 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid redefines what a hybrid- electric can do. With a 3.0L mono-turbo V6 and electric motor, it can speed up to 0 to 60mph in just 4.7 seconds. The cars battery is able to fully recharge in 2.3 hours and its interior is kitted out with a full colour displace which places key information such the driving and engine speed in the driver’s line of sight. With four hybrid- specific drive modes (e-power, hybrid auto, e-hold and e-charge), the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid produces up to 50% less pollutants than the average vehicle powered by petrol.
