An online auction house, Catawiki, are hosting Europe’s largest ever Ferrari Auction of 35 classic Ferraris (worth over £2.6 million) with expected values at auction from £25,000 to £330,000.  Included in this engine-revving selection of cars are the 1988, 1991 and 1992 Ferrari Testarossas, a firm favourite of celebrities such as Elton John. The Testarossas, which became an icon of 1980s retro culture, are expected to go at auction from between £95,000 and £148,000.

Also available in this special online Catawiki auction is a Ferrari Dino 246 GT – 1971, one of the most sought after Ferrari models on the market. The Dino was produced by Ferrari from 1968 – 1976 and is named after Enzo Ferrari’s son Alfredino. The Dino however is not a supercar but a connoisseur’s Ferrari, offering an old school driving experience. It is estimated to sell between a staggering £255,000 and £330,000.

Additionally, in this spectacular Ferrari auction is the 1993 Ferrari 348 GTS. The two-seater sports car produces 300-horse power and with only 4,320 made between the years 1989 – 1995 it is predicted to sell at £90,000.

The auction will run from the 29th January until the 12th February 2016 and has been curated by Sander Houdel, Catawiki’s classic cars auctioneer.

Sander Houdel comments, “At Catawiki we often see Ferraris pass through our auctions, however this is particularly special as it will be the largest ever collection of classic Ferraris on sale in Europe. Undoubtedly one of the world’s most iconic and desired cars and with a collective value of over £2.6m we’re expecting a huge amount of interest in the auction.”
