Showcasing the passion integrated within Hyundai the brand introduced it’s new high-performance N sub-brand which is envisioned through intriguing concept cars along with a preview of the 2016 New Generation i20 WRC race car. Also present at Hyundai’s display were a squadron of new models ready to launch including the new i20 Active and new Santa Fe which boost their European Crossover and SUV ranges whilst the Vision G coupe concept enveloped the inspiration for future premium products.

“This year’s Frankfurt Motor Show showcases the passion of the Hyundai brand,” stated Jochen Sengpiehl, Vice President Marketing at Hyundai Motor Europe. “Design, quality and product value have become established as key pillars of our brand, and now we are adding the emotional characteristics of performance and driving pleasure with Hyundai N.”

Building on it’s motorsport experience in the N sub-brand Hyundai transfers the thrill of driving to their customers highlighting their expertise in performance engineering. The Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept (created exclusively for PlayStation®’s Gran Turismo video game series)  displays a unique perspective on future characteristics and boasts a total power of 884 PS derived from the hydrogen fuel cell system and an additional super capacitor system.  Sat alongside it it the mid-engine turbo-powered 300 PS Hyundai RM15 Concept clearly displaying the company’s passion for performance and hints at how the driver-focused technologies could come into production.

Created specifically for PlayStation®’s Gran Turismo video game series, the Hyundai N 2025 Vision GT Concept was unveiled at Frankfurt International Motor Show 2015.

With the introduction of the new i20 Active and new Santa Fe Hyundai Motor’s full Crossover SUV line-up is all-new or enhanced after the recent introduction of the All-New Tucson. All of the model introductions and updates means that Hyundai Motor has its youngest product line-up in Europe (every model is under two years old). Impressive evolution.  The i20 Active is an urban crossover emulating rugged elegance building on the practicality and style of the New generation i20 five door whilst the new Santa Fe adds comfort and convenience features, advanced safety technology and refines appearance to the longest serving European Hyundai model.

The Vision G Concept encapsulates Hyundai’s design evolution and provides a sneak peek into the future premium products to expect from Hyundai alongside presenting advanced connectivity and control technologies.  It’s unique ‘sling-shot’ design sets it apart from the rest along with it’s advanced technology features  all developed through the collaboration of all Hyundai Design Centres across the world which helps to enhance it’s sophisticated interior.

To round up Hyundai’s collection of revelations the company displayed their latest turbocharged units – the downsized 1.0 T-GDI was introduced with the i20 Active and will be subsequently rolled out throughout the entire i20 range before the end of 2015 and placed alongside it was the 1.4 T-GDI power plant. The highly-efficient engines, designed in collaboration with Hyundai Motor’s European Technical Centre in Germany, boast balanced performance delivering entertaining driving characteristics and optimised fuel economy.
