Garden room experts Crown Pavilions are at the forefront of garden design, using the finest materials to create the perfect outdoor retreat

With a legion of celebrity fans including Alan Titchmarsh, Gloria Hunniford and Duncan Bannatyne, 2016 has seen the company catapulted to the forefront of the garden design world. With a bespoke Crown Pavilions structure taking centre-stage in a ground-breaking RHS garden at Hampton Court, and another forming the centerpiece of a unique holiday project in Hampshire that caters for military service personnel and their families, Crown Pavilions is the name on every designer, architect and developer’s lips – and homeowners are flocking to get a piece of the action.

Specialising in the design and installation of everything from modest gazebos to luxury bespoke outdoor pavilions, every Crown Pavilions product is hand-made to order in Oxfordshire by the company’s own craftsmen, using the finest materials and time-honoured techniques to bring garden dreams to fruition. With each building carefully constructed upon a sturdy steel framework, only the finest Scandinavian wood and Canadian red cedar are used to complete each one, ensuring that quality is always at the top of the agenda.

Each Crown Pavilions design has a decidedly unique, luxurious feel about it, with attractive Western Red Cedar cladding and beautifully tiled pitched roofs. And with a fully insulated framework and double-glazed windows, the rooms are suitable for year-round use – so there’s no need to let your beautiful design go to waste over a woefully cold winter.

On the topic of chillier times, October 1st will see the grand unveiling of the company’s show-stopping new site in Denham – the result of a six-figure investment that has undoubtedly been well spent.

Partnering with Tendercare, the award-winning garden nursery in Uxbridge, Crown Pavilions will show off its finest outdoor buildings in one location for the very first time, and locals are invited to come and see how its bespoke oak and cedar rooms can transform their gardens, first-hand.

“We are delighted to have found a partner in Tendercare who cares as much about the great outdoors as we do,” says company director, Luke Dejahang.

“Our show site will be show-stopping – a complete look at the best buildings Crown Pavilions has to offer.

“Naturally, we want to celebrate this with as many people as possible, so we’re extending an invite to everyone in the local area to attend. They’ll see Crown Pavilions’ garden rooms and gazebos in all their glory, and there’ll be some incredible offers on, to boot.”

According to a recent report by AMA research, the market for garden buildings and structures saw a healthy 3.5% growth in 2015, and is set to continue growing at a rate of 2-4% annually. The company is already on target for a stellar year in 2016, and continues to go from strength to strength.

The growing trend for outdoor living spaces has seen a host of famous faces jump on board – and TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh has been particularly vocal in his praise for Crown Pavilions.

“Crown Pavilions can really change your life,” said gardening guru Titchmarsh. “These fabulous buildings manage to extend the use of your garden at both ends of the year.”

Despite 2016 proving something of a washout so far, the company says that orders are through the roof, as beleaguered homeowners seem determined to make the most of the great outdoors, regardless of the weather.

Orders for Crown Pavilions’ gazebos and garden rooms are up 23% on this time last year – and Luke believes that the British bulldog spirit is responsible.

He said: “Our customers are a hardy lot, and they do love their gardens, but it’s been another year of dashed hopes when it comes to the weather.

“The rain has been incessant, but the reaction has been fascinating – no-one likes being beaten by the weather, so a lot of our new customers have made a conscious decision to enjoy their gardens, regardless of Mother Nature.”

With prices starting at just £7,000 for a gazebo and £20,000 for a building, Luke says there’s never been a better time to invest in the garden.

“Our garden rooms enable everyone to enjoy their garden all year round, and our 30-year guarantee gives peace of mind too.”

Fulfilling a whopping 600-700 orders per year, the company itself has reached a rapidly increasing annual turnover of £7 million annually, and continues to grow at a rate of 30%.

It’s safe to say that the grass couldn’t get much greener for Crown Pavilions – yet the company’s booming business shows no signs of slowing down.
