The demand for kitchen renovations has rocketed by 24 per cent, with new data by Rated People revealing that Britons are still investing in new kitchens despite the squeeze on the cost of living. Homeowner priorities are shifting to optimising their kitchen design in order to better fulfill their needs and create more of a statement. Further to this, reports show that a newly renovated kitchen can boost the overall value of a property by five to six per cent.  

James Bernard, director of design and build company Plus Rooms, who have carried out over 1,400 kitchen projects, has narrowed down the popular requests he has seen, and the expected trends that will dominate 2024. Read on to find out more.
