The lifestyle of the rich and famous often includes visiting some of the most luxurious places on Earth. Having the finances (and name tag) means that celebrities can often escape on luxurious holidays whenever they like.

But which locations are the A-listers visiting in 2023? Well, travel experts at Iglu Cruise have revealed some of their favourite getaway destinations this year.

Social media personality Hailey Bieber has been taking a break in the South of France, where she has been sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun, according to her Instagram. The star has also posted herself paddleboarding, eating pizza and taking a dip in the Mediterranean waters. 

The French Riviera attracts many A-list celebs, with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz also recently spotted in the region. The area is renowned for its beautiful coastline, five-star hotels, world-class dining and exclusive beach clubs, and draws in thousands of affluent visitors each summer.

Monaco, Cannes, Nice and Marseille are all a haven for luxury lovers, where you can find designer boutiques, Michelin-star restaurants and of course, many celebrities!

Pop singer Dua Lipa has been unwinding in Sifnos, Greece. The Grammy-winning artist recently posted photos of herself relaxing on a yacht and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Greek Island with her boyfriend Romain Gavras. 

Sifnos is a wonderful alternative to Santorini or Mykonos where the crowds cluster in the summertime and it still remains relatively unknown. However, the island is becoming increasingly popular with the rich and famous, with Kylie Minogue also spotted enjoying her holidays there in recent years. 

The island offers beautiful Greek cuisine and is famous for its seafood and stunning architecture. You can also find many beaches located all around the island, as well as plenty of nature walks to take in the magnificent views and get them Insta-worthy pics.

American rapper Saweetie has been jetting off the El Nido in the Philippines, according to her Instagram. The chart-topping musician has been relaxing walking along the sandy shores and enjoying some downtime away from her busy schedule. 

El Nido is known for its stunning lagoons, white sand beaches and ocean-blue waters crowded with marine life. The island is praised by visitors and locals alike and is often the top choice for holidaymakers in the Philippines. 

This is the perfect quiet escape for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Visitors can enjoy kayaking, hiking, zip lining or simply soaking up the sun on one of the 50 beaches.

Tennis superstar Emma Raducanu has been enjoying the City of Lights. The Grand Slam winner captioned a recent Instagram post “Doctors ordered recovery time”, whilst standing in front of the glistening Eiffel Tower. The post also shows the 20-year-old enjoying fresh fruits and exploring a vintage market in the French capital. 

Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world, with over 19 million tourists flocking to the destination each year. With a culture rich in history, art and fine dining, it is clear to see why it is so popular. Some of the world’s most visited tourist attractions are also located in the city, including the Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame Cathedral and of course, the Eiffel Tower. 

With close links to London and mainland Europe, the city is also easily accessible by train. As quoted by Audrey Hepburn, “Paris is always a good idea.”

Social media influencer Molly-Mae and her boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury have taken a break in Ibiza, Spain, with their daughter Bambi. The couple, who have also travelled to Dubai, Greece and Barbados this year, recently announced their engagement on the Spanish island. 

Ibiza is no stranger to the rich and famous. Chris Hemsworth, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Watson and David Guetta are just a few celebrities who have been spotted on the island this summer. Famously known as a party destination, Ibiza attracts millions of tourists from around the world each year. However, there is a lot more to be seen for those of all ages. 

The Spanish government has recently launched a campaign to attract more families to the island. There are many famous landmarks to explore, including the Cathedral and Puig Des Molins, a world-famous archaeological site. Visitors can also explore the island on Vespa, and enjoy mountain biking, snorkelling, kayaking and even ziplining.

Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall has recently flown to Jamaica to celebrate the wedding of her former bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock. The pop star has shown her followers a round-up of her trip, including partying on the beach, taking a boat trip, exploring nature and even getting bitten by mosquitoes. Her boyfriend, musician and writer Jordan Stephens, also joined her on the island adventure. 

Jamaica is an island paradise in the Caribbean, and it’s easy to see why so many people visit the country every year. Live reggae music, street festivals, beach parties and carnivals make it one of the liveliest holiday destinations in the world. Music is everywhere on the island – you’ll hear it on the beach, at street food stalls, in bars and restaurants and by the pool. 

The country is also home to some of the Caribbean’s most famous beaches. Seven Mile Beach in Negril and James Bond Beach are two of the best-known and most picturesque. The country also boasts beach weather all year round, with average temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius.

Kris Jenner and Ellen Degeneres have been enjoying some sunshine in Majorca, one of Spain’s Balearic Islands, with their partners Corey Gamble and Portia de Rossi. The squad can be seen posing together on a yacht, with blue Mediterranean waters glistening behind them, with the caption reading “Life was meant for good friends and great adventures!”. 

Majorca is another destination that often attracts A-listers, with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Claudia Schiffer often spotted on the island. Spanish tennis sensation and 22-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal also lives there.
