Whether you’re a regular visitor or passing through occasionally you’ll want to enjoy the best of the best, and this area has it all.

Here, we’re going to take a look at how you can spend a day in Mayfair enjoying all of the luxuries this upmarket district has to offer.

Shopping

With world-renowned retailers including the most esteemed tailors on Saville Row, designer fashion to be found on Bond Street and a maze of luxurious boutiques dotted around the area and in Burlington Arcade, it’s safe to say that keen shoppers with money to spend are well catered to in Mayfair. Independent boutiques selling homewares and top-name accessory designers blend well to offer discerning shoppers some fantastic options, so come prepared.

Lunch

When it comes time to stop off for a quick lunch or a more leisurely meal, there is no shortage of Michelin-rated restaurants, elegant cafés and intimate dining spots to grab a table at. If you’ve spent a long morning exploring the range of shopping hot spots, then it’ll be time to refuel with a delicious meal. Some of our favourites include Hush, Benares, Sketch, Mano Mayfair, The Grill at the Dorchester, Murano, Pollen Street Social, Galvin at Windows and Kitty Fisher’s.

To do

With a belly full of food, it’s time to get back outside and wander the maze of streets that make up Mayfair. If you’re all shopped out for the day, then consider checking out some of the local art galleries and their exhibitions. If you’re looking for something more active, there’s always Danceworks London, which hosts fitness classes, ballet, street dance and the like, or if you fancy an activity at the other end of the scale, then head into the luxurious hotel’s and check out their sumptuous spas.

Dinner

If Mayfair has to be known for one thing, it’s going to be the fantastic selection of high-end restaurants in which to indulge in fine dining meals. Many Michelin Stars sparkle over the district, the only drawback will be narrowing down the list of great restaurants down to one. Some of our tried and tested favourites include Carlo Scotto’s Amethyst, Corrigan’s Bar and Restaurant, Ormer Mayfair by Sofian, Le Comptoir Robuchon, El Norte, Bibi, Rüya London, Madhu’s of Mayfair, Amazonico and the three-Michelin Star Helene Darroze at The Connaught.
