‘Matsuhisa Limassol’ by Nobu Matsuhisa at AMARA Hotel, Cyprus

Cyprus’ newest ultra-luxury hotel, AMARA, is set to shake up the gastronomic landscape of Limassol with the opening of three restaurants led by celebrity chefs when the hotel opens on 1st June 2019.

Matsuhisa Limassol, created by acclaimed chef Nobu Matsuhisa, joins a strong collection of nine international restaurants. With a reputation for intimate, sophisticated and innovative dining experiences, the world’s newest Matsuhisa Limassol will offer Nobu’s signature Japanese-Peruvian blend of cuisines.

‘Ristorante Locatelli’ by Giorgio Locatelli at AMARA Hotel, Cyprus

No stranger to working alongside Nobu Matsuhisa, Italian Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli will also be opening his first Cypriot restaurant at AMARA on 1st June 2019. The two chefs have worked together in the past with their neighbouring restaurants at Atlantic, The Palm in Dubai. ‘Ristorante Locatelli’ at AMARA will serve traditional Italian dishes with a pinch of inspiration from the fresh Cyprus produce and ingredients.

The final addition to the winning trio at AMARA is ‘Armyra by Papaioannou’, a Greek culinary offering that champions fresh seafood fare and the relaxed Mediterranean style of living.

‘Marcus’ by Marcus Samuelsson at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, Canada

Renowned Chef Marcus Samuelsson is partnering with the new Four Seasons Hotel Montreal with ‘Marcus’, a new concept restaurant and bar opening on 8th May 2019. The restaurant will bear both his name and his unique culinary perspective and marks his debut in Canada.

‘Marcus’ will focus on sustainable seafood, including a raw bar, plus sourcing local vegetables, greens and grains from local growers and farmers. The restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal will offer the inspired menus Chef Samuelsson is known for which reflect his culinary journey from his Ethiopian roots and Swedish childhood, to the cultural mosaic of his home in New York City.

‘Pere Planaguma’ pop-up at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort

A five-star haven in the Maldives, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, has announced a series of exclusive partnerships with chefs from all over the world from Michelin-Starred restaurants. Over the next 12 months, the iconic resort will host a different chef in residency each month, offering cooking classes and unique dining experiences for guests.

In May the resort will host two Michelin-star Spanish chef Pere Planaguma, where he will showcase his refined take on sustainable cuisine. With a focus on simple but generous food, Pere will use locally-sourced ingredients and seasonal produce to create some of the most exquisite meals in the culinary capital of the Maldives.
