Asia de Cuba at St Martins Lane launches Bottomless Brunch

By LLM Reporters   |

Asia de Cuba at St Martins Lane will be launching a unique Chino-Latino bottomless brunch this autumn. Devised by Cuban-born Executive Chef Luis Pous, guests will be able to enjoy a decadent three-course brunch menu, accompanied by their choice of bottomless brunch cocktail or champagne, plus an unlimited number of the restaurant’s signature Mexican Doughnuts.

Available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm – 4pm, Asia de Cuba will present two bottomless brunch options:

Cocktail Brunch: complete with an unlimited choice of Mojitos, Mimosas, Bellinis or bespoke Bloody Marys, £48 per person

Champagne Brunch: complete with an unlimited number of glasses of Perrier-Jouët champagne, £70 per person

Each of the above brunch options include a range of Asia de Cuba dishes for the table – in keeping with Asia de Cuba’s sharing ethos – such as Black Bean Hummus with Malanga Chips, Ceviche de Pescado and Mini Cuban Sandwiches.

As part of each brunch option, diners will get to choose a signature main course from the A La Carte menu. Main courses range from Breakfast Tortilla with chorizo, eggs and spicy black beans, a Cuban Benedict with BBQ pulled pork and chipotlaise sauce, or Cuban toast, a crispy sweet brioche, rolled in coconut and almonds with guava puree and mascarpone cheese. Unlimited Mexican Doughnuts with a choice of caramel or Thai chili-chocolate dip rounds off the three brunch courses.

Asia de Cuba reopened its doors in April 2015, offering a revamped menu in a newly designed space at its longstanding home in London’s iconic St Martins Lane. Chef Pous, who grew up and trained as a chef in Cuba, intertwines his heritage and experience with Jeffrey Chodorow’s original vision for Asia de Cuba. Havana is home to one of Latin America’s oldest and largest Chinatowns and, as with the restaurant’s core menu, the new Chino Latino brunch menu is inspired by Chef Pous’ interpretation of what Asian-influenced Cuban food would be today if Cubans had been able to innovate and evolve their cuisine over the past 50 years (when they did not have access to a range of global ingredients).
