Enjoy a classic Espresso Martini cocktail this evening with Miele’s delicious and simple recipe

By LLM Reporters   |

Is there a better way to end a meal and keep the party going than with a sophisticated Espresso Martini? We don’t think so, that’s why we like Miele’s recipe for this classic cocktail – it’s easy to prepare and uses freshly brewed espresso for maximum flavour and that all important crema.

You can, of course enjoy this drink whenever you fancy it but it is best served after dinner, and you can use Tia Maria or Kahlua, though Tia Maria is slightly less sweet than Kahlua.

Ingredients

A handful of ice cubes
30ml good quality vodka
30ml Tia Maria or Kahlua
One espresso shot or 35ml of fresh espresso coffee

Method

1. Place your martini glasses in the freezer for at least 15 minutes before serving.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, add the espresso shot, vodka and the Tia Maria or Kahlua. Shake well for around 15-30 seconds.

3. Pour into a cocktail glass, garnish with coffee beans and serve immediately.
