Florentine’s new ultimate truffle burger

By Georgie Bentley-Buckle   |

I visited Florentine a few months ago and wished I’d returned sooner. A setting that is in tune as it is with its service, bar and menu – this European inspired restaurant does a great job with floor staff who are intuitively passionate and knowledgeable about the menu. Small dishes allow diners to taste their way across the European continent from warm homemade focaccia to creamy cuts of burrata to their signature dishes with hints of truffle.

Elevating their truffle offering with a transatlantic American influence, Florentine London has a new more indulgent addition to their menu. Digging up an even larger quantity of Italy’s most sought-after commodity – the black truffle, the restaurant has been invaded by the Americans with the launch of the biggest gastronomic beef burger, both in size and taste.

Available from 10th November 2017, diners can indulge Monday to Sunday from 11:30am with a fine choice of hand-picked dishes created by head chef Ryan Matheson. Made with truffles carefully sourced from Umbria, Italy this unexpected but undoubtedly delicious new 2KG Herculean Truffle Burger sits pride of place within the centre of the menu. Designed for sharing (for at least four people), this gigantic burger is priced at £55 and is ultimately designed to satisfy any truffle craving.

Why not try it at home?

Steps from Lambeth North tube station and although conveniently located, Florentine may not directly pass many by, but is well worth the visit.
